Pre-Arrival Information
  • Pets are not permitted.
  • Seven Cousins Cottage phone numbers: 252-986-1418; voice, data & fax 252-986-1170.   Free long distance calls are included in the rental
  • The mailing address is: (Your Name) % General Delivery, Hatteras, NC  27943.  Mail must be picked up at the Post Office in the village.  Postal service is slow to the Island, and it is probably best to avoid having materials mailed to you during short visits.  For FedEx and UPS, the street address is: 58883 South Beach Drive, Hatteras, NC 27943. Their service can be slower, also.
  • The fax/scanner/copier/wireless printer is a HP Photosmart 2710 All-in-One.  It will print photos directly from a digital camera’s memory card without using a computer.  You can print from; CompactFlash (I, II), SmartMedia, MultiMediaCard, Memory Stick, or PictBridge camera port.  Please bring your own photo paper.  For more details and to download the driver (driver not necessary to print direct from memory card), go to hp.com, click Driver Downloads, enter product: Photosmart 2710, click Photosmart 2710 All-in One, click your operating system.  Or, there is a CD at the printer for loading the driver.  Note: the driver is 492M.
  • The internet access is Sprint DSL with a Linksys Wireless-B 802.11b router.
  • Bike rentals are available in the village.  As we are unable to fit individual riders with helmuts, the cottages of Hatteras Landing will be discontinuing providing bikes.
  • Russ Cauff’s cell phone number is 252-489-8426.  Please call Russ the day before your arrival to coordinate your arrival time and check-in at the Cottage.  Please remember that the Cottage will not be available until 5 PM on Saturday.  Should you arrive early, there are rest rooms, shops, and refreshments across the street at Hatteras Landing shopping center.
